ANFASA MOURNS THE PASSING OF ITS FOUNDER AND TREASURER
MONICA SEEBER
It is with heavy hearts that the Academic and Non-Fiction Authors Association of South Africa has learned about the passing of its founder and treasurer Lydia Monica Seeber.
ANFASA expresses its heartfelt condolences to the Seeber family, her loved ones and friends. Monica was the pillar of ANFASA and respected by many in the publishing industry. Her passing is a great loss to the creative industries.
Monica spent her life advocating for the recognition of authors and their rights. It was her dream to see authors making a living through their writing. At her passing Monica was serving on the ANFASA board as treasurer and head of the ANFASA copyright committee.
Monica Seeber born 15 July 1942 and passed away on 19 July 2022 is survived by her sons, grandchildren and loved by many fellow authors.
