JSTOR is an online digital archive founded in 1995 to assist the scholarly community by providing a research platform. Its repository contains an interdisciplinary archive of scholarly works and is constantly expanding.
JSTOR has an African Access Initiative Participant programme whereby they make their content available for free to academic or not-for-profit organisations based in Africa. ANFASA qualifies to participate under this programme and has joined JSTOR as a participant.
Therefore as an author and member of ANFASA you can now benefit from the JSTOR archive. If you write and or edit academic or educational textbooks (school or tertiary level) you will find that in your research you will frequently need articles online that will be available to you at no cost through JSTOR.
As a JSTOR African Access Initiative Participant, ANFASA members will also receive access to Aluka; another online digital library of scholarly resources about Africa.
