For the first time in history, PanSALB in collaboration with DSAC, ANFASA and the Khoe and San National Language Body (KSNLB) presents the 1st edition of the Nama Spelling & Orthography Rules to South Africa accompanied by an audiobook. It is the first of its kind on behalf of all the Khoe and San languages in this country. The process started back in 2017 benchmarked and supported by our neighbouring country Namibia and it is with excitement to announce that Nama language now has standardised spelling and orthography rules unique to the South African context.
