Yusra escaped war from a country of her birth, Yemen to be a refugee in Bo-Kaap of Cape Town in South Africa.
In search of her family she bumped to a young gentleman and as result she encountered religious difficulties and prejudiced to have a meaningful relationship with a young man.
At the other side, a young man, Vuyolwethu from a chieftaincy family of Madikizela, in Mpondo land encountered similar difficulties and prejudices as Yusra.
The enthusiasm and electric feeling of the community of Embhongweni Village with Mbizana Municipality of Eastern Cape in South Africa about their ‘Yure’ was beyond the expectation of the Chief Madikizela’s family.
As a result, the unprecedented decisions had to be taken by the Chief and his family to conceded in the persuasion of the community elderly women to the of “their” bride.
Mntam Co tinted to be a beckon of hope and light to the community of Embhongweni Village and to the entire Mpondo nation through her projects with cooperations with her husband, Vuyolwethu and ICEF.
