About Daughter Wound

Daughter Wound (Hazel Press, 2024) explores a young woman’s negotiation of intimate relationships. The cover design features ‘Kin’, a commissioned painting by artist Anna Ilsley, whose work challenges the construct of the male gaze and offers a feminist disruption of patriarchal images.
